Save Starlight is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization and Balboa Parks newest institution. Our goal is to restore and repurpose this Historic outdoor amphitheater that seats over 3,600. Save Starlight.org will be operating the venue as an affordable event space for a wide variety of performances, becoming a multifaceted creative playground where 28 million park visitors are exposed to San Diegos rising stars. Starlight will be a hub for the community- with cutting-edge content and technology, featuring its own working television studio free to use for San Diego teachers and students. Save Starlight.org is working with other organizations in the park such as The committee 100, Friends of Balboa Park and The Balboa Park Conservancy to not only preserve and restore The Starlight Bowl but the south section of the park, The Palisades.
