Reena Mehta College

Jeevan Jyot Educational Charitable Trust was established by the founder & Chairperson Mrs. Reena Mehta in the year 1997 with an aim to impart quality education to the students of suburban Mumbai, especially focusing on Mira-Bhayander. Today Jeevan Jyot Education Charitable Trust is the parent body to St. Anne’s High School and Junior College of Commerce and Science, approved by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune. & Reena Mehta College of Commerce, Science and Management Studies which is affiliated to The University of Mumbai. The Trust which started in 1997 with merely 40 students now has more than 3000 students, and its increasing year on year. St Anne’s High School was started in the year 1997. In 2002-03 the trust got permission from Maharashtra board to run St Anne’s Junior College of Commerce and Science. In 2003 -04 Reena Mehta College of Science, Commerce and Management Studies was established. Reena Mehta College (RMC) has been offering wide range of course at Graduate level, all of which are affiliated to University of Mumbai. Our Courses Include Bachelors of Commerce (B. Com), Bachelors of Commerce in Banking and Insurance (BBI), Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting and Finance (BAF), Bachelors of Mass Media (BMM), Bachelors of Science in Informational Technology (Bsc I.T) and Bachelors of Management studies (BMS). We now have post graduate courses like 1. MCom in advance accountancy 2. MCom in Management and 3. MCom in E-Commerce The vision of the institute is to be one of the best colleges in Mumbai and Thane at graduate and post graduate level.
