ReBuilding Center

The ReBuilding Center strives to make reuse and repair central to the climate justice movement. We build community resilience, both at the individual and environmental levels, by operating the largest reuse retail warehouse in the region, keeping more than 3 million pounds of building materials out of the landfills each year and selling it back to the community at very affordable prices to encourage reuse and meet the home repair needs of people with low income. We also provide more than 150 home repair skill-building classes each year, with a goal of building resilience by teaching people how to do their own home repairs affordably and safely with reclaimed materials.
