Welcome to QACICO QACICO was registered on 13 November, 2005 upon issuance of its Commercial Registration Number 31621 through Joint Venture (JV) Partnership between Nasser Bin Khaled Al-Thani & Sons (NBKS) and ACICO Industrial Co., Kuwait. The company was envisioned to manufacture, distribute and market Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) Non-reinforced Building Materials such as Blocks and Jumbos in different sizes and Reinforced Building Materials such as Wall Panels, Slabs, Lintels and Stairs. QACICO products are intended to support the requirements of Developers, Contractors, Builders, Consultants, Engineering Companies and more. These products are specially suited for the construction of Towers, Villas, Hospitals, Flats, Schools and other infrastructures. It is the company’s philosophy to build on solid foundations with its business partners. QACICO produces AAC products to cater the needs of domestic and foreign construction and industrial markets. In a span of almost four (4) years, the company supplied AAC materials to twelve 12 Towers at the Pearl, Qatar and established business partnerships to various sectors in the construction industry. As far back as the end of the past century, methods were known for making building blocks from the natural raw materials quartz sand and lime. At the turn of the century that method was improved by steam curing. This, in turn, was the starting point for a further developed building material containing a large proportion of air spaces-aerated concrete. The generic term “aerated concrete”, which was coined a very long time ago, is a concept which no longer does justice to the present ACICO building material, because the gas (hydrogen) generated during the gas-forming process evaporates even before steam-curing.
