Padma Hotels

The story of Padma Hotels dates back to 1985 when Mr. Budi Hartono, Chairman of P.T. Puri Zuqni, purchased 6,8 hectares of prime land in Legian, Bali. He realised the untapped potential of this oceanfront site and saw an opportunity to establish a 5-star hotel. The first Padma property was inaugurated in September 1990 under the name of The Bali Padma Hotel. It was a veritable sanctuary located just footsteps from Bali’s most celebrated stretch of sunset beach. In 2000, P.T. Puri Zuqni acquired The Chedi, a boutique hotel in Bandung with 50 rooms that was managed it under the Malya brand. An aesthetic renovation and room expansion project was completed in 2010 resulting in the property being rebranded as Padma Hotel Bandung. Nestled in the lush hills of West Java, this popular retreat is attuned to the surrounding environment. Designed for business and pleasure, it commands sweeping views and is just minutes from the city centre. After many years of planning, Padma Resort Ubud was launched in February 2016. Blessed with a prime piece of riverside landscape, this high-end property was designed to capture the essence of Balinese elegance. It is a restful retreat where guests can escape the crowds of mainstream tourism and reconnect with the gentle beauty of nature. In September 2016, the official formation of PT Puri Padma Management, with the brand name Padma Hotels. Apart from managing three distinctive properties of PT Puri Zuqni, PT Puri Padma Management also manages Resinda Hotel Karawang.
