The organization serves as the ideal innovative engine and local hub to collate the necessary resources for diffusing knowledge and training to medically underserved areas of Latin America. The organization offers continuing medical education and training packages to public and private medical care organizations in Mexico and Latin America using an innovative systems based model of skills training and certification, along with fully integrated knowledge and tele-mentoring networks. PACE MDs goal is to improve medical care and system integration in emergency situations, from medical centers out to the last kilometer of the Chain of Survival. The most specific health problem PACE solves is reducing the maternal mortality rate in Mexico. Emergency obstetrics training, from OBGYN's to general practitioners, nurses, community health workers, and midwives is a helpful solution to this multi-factorial problem. PACE addresses emergency health problems, but the innovations and processes are likely to impact other areas of health care. PACEs main products are skills certification courses in the areas of: Emergency Obstetrics (Basic, Community and Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics) American Heart Association Related (Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support) Life Support Course and Advanced Medical Life Support Course, among others.
