Olympia Community Solar is a nonprofit organization in Western Washington state devoted to stewarding the transition to clean energy through project development, education, and policy development. Run by a working volunteer board of directors, we are currently developing our first community solar project in conjunction with local governments and respected nonprofit entities. Our educational portfolio involves partnerships with public schools to develop curriculum as well as showcasing and stewarding the development of renewables on campus and in the classroom. Our policy work includes close working relationships with municipalities to streamline and unify solar codes, as well as advocacy at the state level.
