New Forest School is an Outstanding (OFSTED 2017) small, independent school providing a high quality education for boys and girls aged 8-19 who are not attending mainstream school because of severe or complex needs, emotional and social difficulties arising from (for example a life trauma), Autism or a phobia of education. Facilities The school has excellent facilities and resources and you can be confident that we are well equipped to support your childs needs. Our school is run from three sites, a matter of minutes apart. Students either attend our Water Lane Site or the Fawley Lunedale Sites depending on their specific needs. Fawley Road Site: Core subjects (English, Maths and Science), Music, Languages, PE & Outdoor Education and PSHE/Careers. Lunedale Road Site: Catering, ICT & Computing, Humanities, Art and Design Technology. Water Lane Site: Core subjects (English, Maths and Science), Music, Languages, PE & Outdoor Education and PSHE/Careers, Catering, ICT & Computing, Humanities, Art and Design Technology. Our main office and first point of contact is the Fawley Road site. Structure Our school is split into a Junior and Senior School organised as follows: Junior School: Key Stage 2: Year 4 to Year 6 Senior School: Key Stage 3: Year 7 to Year 9 Key Stage 4: Year 10 to Year 11 (Key Stage 4).
