The National Centre for Suicide Prevention Training UK CIC is a community interest company and not-for-profit social enterprise, created in 2011 by a consultancy of experienced international trainers in the field of suicide prevention education. We have been working in the UK to develop and deliver suicide prevention education for many years and in recognition of the lack of dedicated resources to suicide prevention training programmes, created a formal initiative, on a not-for-profit basis. Today, we are the UK's provider of the National Qualification in Suicide Prevention. The National Centre for Suicide Prevention Training UK CIC commissions a network of highly skilled trainers from a variety of professional backgrounds, specifically from within the voluntary, private and statutory sectors, including primary care, criminal justice, youth work, housing, nursing and mental health services. Our experienced team of associate trainers have been selected to work based on their proven records of achievement and success within their particular sector, as well as for their reputation for delivering high-quality, engaging training products to the public.
