The Macon County Department of Social Services provides direct services to citizens of every age that address issues of poverty, family violence and exploitation. The services we provide include NC Medicaid, Work First, Child Welfare, Child Care, Child Support, Adult and Family Services, Low Income Energy Assistance and Food and Nutrition Services.
