La Retraite is a vibrant, welcoming Roman Catholic school for girls with a mixed Sixth Form. In 2013, the School was recognised as being 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and has celebrated consistently excellent exam results. In 2016, it celebrated some of the best progress in the country at secondary school level and was National Winner of the Pupil Premium Awards which recognised the support for disadvantaged pupils to make excellent progress.
