Kizuna Across Cultures (KAC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC that cultivates international friendship and cross-cultural awareness among youth of all backgrounds. KAC runs Global Classmates, a bilingual virtual exchange that pairs a Japanese language class at a U.S. high school and an English language class at a Japanese high school. The program has connected over 12,000 students since its inception. KAC also launched the Global Classmates Community that supports students and young professionals who seek to enrich their careers and personal lives with international opportunities and perspectives through online and in-person programs.
