kinsale bay food company

The Kinsale Bay Food Company is a small Irish family-owned and family-managed gluten-free company, founded in the heart of Kinsale on the site of the original Kinsale Fish Market. Kinsale was a famous fishing port supplying fish caught off the local coast in a boat known as the Kinsale Hooker which was known to the local area and throughout Ireland. This boat was made by local craftsmen in Kinsale. It was this picturesque and community-driven village, perched on the South Coast of Ireland, that inspired our owners Jim and Tommy to name us the Kinsale Bay Food Company. Kinsale Bay Food Company produced gluten-free food and sold to local markets in Cork and West Cork before moving to Little Island in 2011, where it resides today. It now produces a range of free-from food including Ready Meals (Shepherd’s, Cottage and Fish Pies), Pâtés, Soups, Chowder and Veg Compliments. Our products are hand prepared in our dedicated free from production facility. Kinsale Bay Food Company is a multiple award-winning Cork company that prides itself on crafting the finest coeliac friendly chilled Irish food products. We hold awards from prestigious bodies including the Free From Food Awards Ireland, Blas na hÉirean, Great Taste Awards and the Irish Food Quality Awards. Using locally sourced ingredients where possible, we are committed to producing our innovative gluten-free products to the highest standard. Our range of gluten-free chilled products include Ready Meals, Soups, Chowder & Pâtés and are available in SuperValu, Dunnes Stores, Tesco, Centra, Artisan and Independent retailers nationwide. We are committed to producing products that are both tasty and healthy. As our owners, Jim and Tommy say: “Being gluten-free doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice on quality or taste, and our products represent this.”
