Established by its current owners in 1994 as an air cargo agent. Became an accredited IATA agent in 1995. Added customs brokerage, sea freight forwarding and full road freight forwarding to its profile. By early 2000’s, ASAV secured its place among the top 5 agents in IATA ranking lists and set up its own trailer fleet operating to/from continental Europe & UK. ASAV operates with its own offices covering main sea ports and airports across Turkey and the Netherlands. ASAV was ranked Turkey’s largest air freight forwarder as per official IATA statistics in the first seven months of 2017. This marked yet again another year of success for the largest 100% locally owned air freight forwarder of Turkey. ASAV continues to grow each year in turnover and profits while continuing to invest what we earn from logistics back to our industry. In 2016, ASAV purchased its new office and bonded warehouse facility in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands; also began the construction of its new bonded and free warehouse facility in Istanbul, Turkey in 2017. Also ASAV’s own asset, this project is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2017 and include highest class technology.
