First registered in 1916, Kepston is a privately owned company with 2 sites in the West Midlands. The Aldridge site offers sub contract precision CNC jig & universal grinding to tolerances of 0.001mm under a temperature controlled environment, in addition to wire eroding capable of a zero re-cast or "white" layer. The Wednesbury site offers sub contract furnace brazing & bright annealing using vacuum & continuous furnaces, materials including stainless, steel & copper alloys. Magnetic annealing of soft magnetic alloys is carried out under a hydrogen atmosphere. Both sites are approved to AS9100 Rev C & ISO 9001:2008 In recent times, substantial investment has been made at both sites including a new extension, a CNC Hauser, a Kellenberger and an additional wire eroding plant at the Aldridge site. Whilst a new larger hydrogen atmosphere humpback furnace & a vacuum furnace has been acquired at the Wednesbury site.
