Established in 1978, we are a family owned and operated transportation organisation that has experienced significant growth since our humble beginnings. The past 40+ years has seen the organisation evolve to encompass a wide range of transport solutions and experiences throughout the greater Queensland region and beyond. Highlights: 2018 Commonwealth Games Apr 2018 Kangaroo Bus Lines (KBL) signed a contract for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games to assist transporting VIPs and spectators, KBL was engaged by the State Government to provide support services to handle any overloads or issues that may arise through the network. KBL helped shift excessive crowds, working directly with the Department of Transport and Main Roads – a project that was pulled together in seven weeks. G20 Leaders Summit Nov 2014 Kangaroo Bus Lines (KBL) was awarded a contract to supply 120 vehicles during the G20 Leaders Summit which was held in Brisbane, Australia. KBL lead the contract and procured sub-contractors from around the country, with 85 per cent of buses coming from Queensland operations. The event saw up to 25 world leaders, 4000 delegates and 3000 domestic and international media descend on the city.
