JR Biotek Foundation is a charitable organisation (501(c)(3)) established to promote bioscience education, research and innovation for Africa's sustainable development. We design, develop and provide world-class hands-on molecular bioscience-focused research training programs to Africa-based agricultural researchers and students. With support from our partners including the University of Cambridge and researchers at the Texas A&M University, USA, we have reached and provided excellent molecular biology and biotechnology-focused training (both online and offline) to thousands of researchers and students in 40+ countries. We are working with our powerful alumni network across Africa to build long-term, sustainable and effective capacity building programs that are relevant to solving local problems, especially hunger and malnutrition in Africa.
