Jednota bratrská

Moravian church in the Czech republic is a reform church. It functions under the presbyterian-synodical foundations with the ministry overseeing the individual church bodies and thus leading them into independence and still preserving the unity of the whole church. Moravian church is a part of the world denomination called Unitas Fratrum. It functions as an independent Czech province. It is a member of the Ecumenical Council of Churches, the Czech Biblical society and cooperates with other christian organizations. It takes an inspiration from its rich history and as their fathers it strives to build a church based on the apostolic and prophetic principles. During its history which has taken more than 550 years it has developed its vision based on five basic values: Binding to the apostolic roots Authenticity Life in the Bond Focusing on the needs of society Presenting the image of Jesus opposed to building a denomination The church elects its representatives according to their inner authority given by maturity, humbleness and the ability to have insight into the current God's intentions.
