IBPSA Turkey

IBPSA Turkey is the Turkish regional affiliate of the world-wide acting International Building Performance Simulation Association (www.ibpsa.org) and being linked to this association, IBPSA Turkey still acts as an independent organization. As the IBPSA is a non-profit international society of building performance simulation researchers, developers and practitioners, IBPSA Turkey is also founded to advance and promote the science of building performance simulation in order to improve the design, construction, operation and maintenance of new and existing buildings. IBPSA Turkey’s objectives are to provide a forum for the exchange of information between researchers, developers and practitioners operating in the area of building performance simulation and related issues and to increase the efficiency and quality of all modeling and simulation studies targeting improvement of building performances. IBPSA-Turkey will strive to achieve these objectives through cyclic meetings and conferences at national and international level, as well as, all kinds of possible and suitable means of online communication among large networks of professionals through interactive web sites, active social media accounts and e-mail discussion groups. IBPSA Turkey has been founded by a board of members and officially recognized by IBPSA Global Board by the March 1st 2018 and at the same time established Building Performance Simulation Committee under TTMD (Turkish Society of HVAC and Sanitary Engineers). On behalf of these organizations and the founder board of members, IBPSA Turkey will be warmly welcoming new members and all kinds of contributors working in the area of building performance simulations.
