GASEK

GASEK is a Finnish energy technology company established in 2008. We develop and manufacture for our end-user customers wood chip-fuelled CHP plants, which are based on wood gasification technology, as well as power plant gasification reactors. Our technology is based on 30 years of development, which has resulted in transforming problems, traditionally associated with wood gasification, into emissions-free and environment friendly energy generating power plant solutions. The core of our technology is the patented gasifier, which produces pure gas from mixed wood chips. The typical applications of our power plants are sparsely populated areas, as well as small and medium size businesses, e.g. farms and greenhouses. Our solution provides a possibility for independent power and heat generation, and our power plants can be linked to national grids. A key actor on the background of GASEK is the venture capital company VNT Management Oy, which is focussing on investments in clean and renewable energy technologies.
