Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Alberta

Since 1913, the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta has been dedicated to providing learner-centred educational programs that meet the health-care needs of our communities. Our goal is to graduate qualified, compassionate and inquisitive practitioners and researchers accomplished in health-care delivery and scholarship. We offer six undergraduate programs, 22 master's and PhD graduate programs, more than 50 postgraduate medical programs and two postgraduate medical programs. Our fully accredited educational programs are home to more 3M National Teaching Fellows (Canada's highest teaching honour) than any other Canadian medical school. Our researchers enjoy access to the state-of-the-art facilities that support more than 20 research centres and institutes dedicated to advancing health research to advance health outcomes for Alberta, Canada and the world.
