Dubai Desert Extreme L.L.C. (DDE) was formed in December 2001 by Shahriar and Shahin Khodjasteh with the mission to become a leading distributor of Action Sports, Lifestyle & Bicycle brands and products in the G.C.C. & Middle East, with its Head Quarters based in Dubai. Our philosophy is to provide the market with internationally recognised quality brands along with strong marketing support and a high level of customer service. DDE has helped support and facilitate the growth of action sports and cycling, and their associated lifestyles, furthermore developing the market for its portfolio of brands, products and services. Over the years since its inception, DDE has also developed and launched home-grown Retail concepts to cater to its growing customer base and market. As the pioneers in Skateboarding, DDE was the first to open the first dedicated Skate Shop concept called Rage, which then evolved to a complete Action Sports retailer and providing brands and products specific to Skate, Surf, Snow and BMX. In 2007, DDE then launched the chain of Bicycle stores called Ride Bike Shops and is now one of the leaders in the industry. In 2014, DDE will roll out new and exciting concepts that will include a Swimwear Concept called BikiniWorld and others. banon and Iran. DDE has now grown to become a leader in the market and has recently capped this off, by being ranked 4th in the Top 100 SME companies of Dubai as part of the Dubai SME 100. DDE is proud of its passionate and dedicated team who are already working hard to claim the number one spot at the next Dubai SME100 in 2015. In August of 2014, both partners were selected by Endeavor, which identifies, selects and mentors High Impact Entrepreneurs to scale their businesses to new heights and to contribute even further to their local eco-system.
