Day & Age was founded in 2013 by Jon Day, an entrepreneur with a background in sculpture, architecture, and industrial design. Jon attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and studied sculpture & fabrication. While at Pratt, Jon worked as a designer, fabricator, and exhibit installer for many galleries and artist's. After college Jon focused on honing his skills as a craftsmen and signed on to the restoration of the Charles W. Morgan at Mystic Seaport. The next four years were a deep dive into history, problem solving, and yankee ingenuity- Working at Mystic Seaport among such a dynamic team of world class craftsman inspired Jon to start Day & Age, where he strives to bring together top shelf talent to solve complex design challenges and deliver remarkable results.
