The Canadian Institute for Genomics and Society (Genomics4S) is a non-profit organization that promotes responsible research and innovation (RRI) for the advancement of biomedical research and the healthcare field. Our interdisciplinary team includes academic researchers, science communicators, bioethicists, and policy consultants with extensive expertise in theoretical and applied research on the societal impacts of emerging biomedical technologies, policy analysis and development, ethics consultation, public opinion research, and public engagement. We design and implement experiential learning programs and science communication skills training to students, fellows, and faculty in the STEM disciplines at Canadian post-secondary institutions.
