Camphill Blair Drummond

Camphill Blair Drummond is a rural community situated six miles from the historic city of Stirling, Scotland. We offer a home, meaningful activities and opportunities for personal development to adults with learning disabilities and other special needs. In all some 200 people live and work within Camphill Blair Drummond. Making valuable contributions, making friends, making a difference – these are the things which help us all feel safe, secure and cherished. At Camphill Blair Drummond, we firmly believe that everyone has something to offer, no matter what challenges we face and what needs we have. Within a unique family setting, we seek to help our residents and day students, our employees and our volunteers reach their fullest potential. At Camphill Blair Drummond we all live, work and grow together in a vibrant rural community, regardless of age, background, nationality or ability. Employees and volunteers work alongside adults with complex learning disabilities and everyone contributes to the normal pattern of community life. Tasks such as baking bread, tending the gardens and helping out in the estate grounds are shared by everyone and matched to individual abilities.
