By the words of our founder Paul Newman, there are no sick children, there are children, who happen to be sick. Thats the magic of all SeriousFun Childrens Network camps, our international camp association. At Bátor Tábor we change lives. We give back childhood for seriously ill children and their families by providing life-changing experiences, strength and tools to live and to recover. Since our foundation in 2001, 10 000 campers were in our sessions. Our GO! Program was launched in 2015, which we use to take therapeutic adventures to children in hospitals throughout the year. All of our programs are free of charge. Since 2001, already more than 3,000 well-trained volunteers joined us to help implement the programs of Bátor Tábor. Their lives also often change in the camp. As the one and only SeriousFun camp in Central Europe, we serve Hungarian, Slovakian, Czech and Polish campers. Our hospital program runs in 3 Hungarian cities, as well as in Bratislava and Warsaw, and from 2020 in Prague too.
