Formed in 1996, Becker Engineering, PC offers professional design services to developers, architects, and contractors in the tri-state area. As a full-service engineering company, we strive to simplify the design process by providing a one-stop shop for engineering design. Our design teams work together to minimize the cost associated with a project’s design by providing an efficient and easy integration of all building systems. In addition to building design, we specialize in construction engineering. We work directly with contractors to provide on-site engineering guidance and prepare designs to allow for the proposed construction. We value engineer designs prepared by other consultants to reduce costs and simplify installation. Some of the designs we provide for buildings under construction include support of excavation and underpinning, concrete formwork and reshoring, and fall protection. We also provide temporary shoring and bracing designs to support existing structures during renovations. As an IAS accredited Special Inspection agency, we perform special inspections for construction projects in New York City and Long Island. We inspect designs by other consultants, as well as our own.
