Barworks Hospitality Group is a joint venture company between JAG Hospitality Ltd a company founded by John Hellebrekers and Gavin Cowell with a cumulative 30 years in the hospitality industry and DB Breweries, who have been brewing beer in NZ since 1929 and are owned by Heineken International. The combination of entrepreneurial talents and corporate muscle has allowed our company to expand rapidly, and we currently operate 19 successful gastrobars in Auckland, along with a dedicated Functions & Events business. The beer is, of course, 100% supplied by DB Breweries, from craft beers like Tuatara, Monteiths and Black Dog, to international premium brands like Heineken and Tiger.
