Barry Transportation - now Egis

In the summer of 1999 our first appointments were for the M3 Navan to Dunshaughlin and the N52 Mullingar to Belvedere schemes. A year later, we consolidated our partnership and formed an incorporated company, Halcrow Barry Limited. On the 1st of March 2018 the company formerly known as Halcrow Barry became Barry Transportation. We are committed to maintaining the excellent level of service on all existing projects and look forward to applying our capacity developed over the past two decades to the challenging future development of the country’s infrastructure. We have over the last two decades developed organically a large team of well qualified, very experienced and competent Engineers and Project Managers, located regionally in our offices in Castlebar, Dublin and Cork. In June 2023, Barry Transportation joined Egis. Egis is a global consulting, engineering and operating firm, with 19,500 employees and operations in over 100 countries, working across every aspect of transport and the built environment.
