adelong education and training

Adelong Education and Training is the freelance teaching operation of Robert Kos, an Australian educator who has been based in Singapore since 2008. Adelong was started in 2016 and represents the culmination of Robert's diverse teaching experience as well as the philosophy of education that his career has granted him. Through Adelong, Robert works with a wide range of clients including multinational companies seeking training for staff, private adults wishing to brush up their skills and children in need of tuition. These sessions take place in a location of the client's choice or in the Adelong teaching space (near Chinatown MRT). Every client that Adelong works with has unique needs and individual strengths. Robert tries to understand each client's goals and to harness their pre-existing strengths to guide them closer to where they would like to be. While this means that the work is heavily individualised, the core principles of Robert's teaching approach remain: respect, engagement, challenge and growth.
