ABC Heart of America

ABC is the only national association devoted exclusively to the merit shop philosophy, which aims to provide the best management techniques, the finest craftsmanship, and the most competitive bidding and pricing strategies in the industry, regardless of labor affiliation. The Heart of America Chapter is one of 70 chapters across the country working toward advancing the construction industry. The chapter hosts a variety of programs and services aimed at benefiting its members. The Heart of America Chapter is committed to developing a safe workplace and high-performance workforce through quality. Our apprenticeship classes are based on a modular curriculum and are taught in programs from three to five years in length. All classes are registered with the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, and the Veterans Administration. Our business development activities such as monthly membership meetings, our annual "Excellence in Construction"​ awards and our Accredited Quality Contractor program highlight the best companies in the industry.
