At Aarhus Soundsystem we develop the most sustainable Hi-Fi speakers at the market, without compromising on either sound quality or design. Aarhus Soundsystem is a startup in rapid development and a central part of the daily life in Den Gode By an office space in one of the fastest developing business areas in Aarhus, Denmark. We manufacture our speakers locally in collaboration with the entrepreneur house Square One, with whom we have designed our timeless bamboo cabinets. We aim at innovating the production process of speakers in general, as part of an environmental turn in the production of high-quality products. We believe in optimizing the physical materials used for speaker production while extending the lifecycle of Hi-Fi products. It is not only our dream that people enjoy awesome sound in their daily life we want awesome sound to be a lifelong experience. In short: We want to offer sustainable sound for a lifetime. As part of our business we wish to offer a return system for our products, through which customers can get discounts for new products, and make sure that their old products are taken care off, separated, reused and recycled as responsible as possible. We know that speakers cant be 100% sustainable with the current technology and production possibilities. As a compensation for this, we wish to spend a part of our revenue on investing in bamboo fields around the world, to go full circle with our plans for the future of Hi-Fi and speaker production. We launch our first product line, consisting of a 2- and 3-way passive speaker in Q4 2019.
